Every morning the sun rises out of the sea, right outside. This is Montegiordano, on the Ionian coast of Calabria, in a newly renovated building 30 metres from the beach.

The building is self-sufficient and eco-friendly: its energy comes from solar panels and there is a charging point for electric cars. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, an air-conditioned living area, modern bathrooms with large showers, a private veranda or balcony and a corner to work. Shared by all: a sun terrace with a sea view and a fenced parking area, subject to availability.
Montegiordano is a quiet village, far from mass tourism. The sea in the gulf is almost always calm, the seafront has a cycle path, and the village has restaurants, an ice-cream shop, a pharmacy and supermarkets.
