Who handles your data
The data controller is Giuseppe Paparella – Paparella Property, Via Cimarosa 17, 70037 Ruvo di Puglia (BA), P. IVA 09067610726, info@paparellaproperty.com.
What data
- Browsing data: IP address, pages visited and times, logged by the server for security and to run the site.
- Data you send us: name, contact details, dates and message, when you write to us from a form. The site does not store them: the form prepares a WhatsApp message or an email, and the data reach us only if you send it.
- Stay data: personal details, ID document, contact details and payment, when you book.
Why we process them
- To answer your requests before booking (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To manage your booking and stay (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To meet legal obligations: reporting to the police via Alloggiati Web, tourist tax, ISTAT statistics, tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Who may receive them
- The competent authorities: police, town council, tax agency.
- Suppliers who help us, appointed as data processors: the website provider, the booking system and the card payment service.
- WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider, if you choose that channel to write to us.
How long
For as long as needed to reply or manage your stay, then for the periods set by tax and public-security law.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some suppliers (for example WhatsApp and the payment service) may process data in the United States, with the safeguards provided by the GDPR such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR) by writing to info@paparellaproperty.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
